I've been having computer woes this week, so have not posted much...very sorry. I will try to get this posted before either my computer or Blogger decide they've had enough. I am obliged to keep it short this go round, so there will be no witty repartee with myself, or humorous yet insightful vignettes. Maybe tomorrow, when I hope computer time is more ordinary.
I wanted, at the very least, to get the next exercise out there. This exercise is a continuation of the last, thus it is called Ordinary Time, part 2:
Sit across from the person you wrote about/drew the last exercise. (The someone you are very close to). Observe him/her carefully. If you don't want him/her to know what you're doing, pretend to make a list. This is always a good ploy when you want people to think you're just being somewhat normal...While committing your Act of Attention to your person, try not to think about what you wrote/drew when you did the previous Ordinary Time exercise. Write or draw them now with fresh eyes and wild mind (as Natalie Goldberg would say).
